Birthday present

Ingie opted to go to the hotel in Branson called Splash Country instead of a birthday party. The girls had fun I think. We stopped at Erin's the night before and had Christmas with her. Erin cooked a delicious dinner. We were the first people she has ever cooked a meal for. We feel very priveledged. Thursday, December 14, 2006
Christmas

Ingrid and Sigrid had a Christmas program at preschool today. Sigie's shirt says "good things come in small packages". She wanted me to take a picture of her toes this morning. Ingrid wanted her hair curled this morning for the program. She had trouble deciding on the red velvet bow or the red corduroy hat with a grosgain ribbon on it. Her jumper was green corduroy with stockings embroderied on the bottom. She was really proud of her looks today. Her class sang "Frosty the Snowman" and "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Ingrid and her friend Abby Grace sang the loudest and tried to out do everyone. I must say they succeeded. Abby Grace also decided she could out do Ingrid by singing faster...this upset the teacher and Ingrid tried to get Abby to slow down by using hand gestures but Abby ingnored them. Ingrid didn't care that Abby could sing faster....Ingrid just wanted to sing it right.

Labor Day Weekend

Okay these pictures are not at all in the order I inteded them to be. The last one should be the first one, the first one should be in the middle and the middle one should be last.
Today Astrid and Ingrid had a blast playing with the wagon. Astrid would pull it to the top of various little hills in our yard and then hop in and she and Ingie would roll down. In these pictures they are rolling down backward and having a gay ole time. I had pulled Sigie in the wagon down to the lake. The big girls and I were looking for flat rocks so Daddy could build us a patio. We took our chalk so we could mark the ones we wanted. We will have to find a way for Pop to get them from the lake to our house. We saw lots of muskadines. They were too high in the trees for us to pick them.
Yesterday Astrid and Ingrid made mud pies and Sigie was the taste tester as you can see from the middle picture.
