Today's work

This is after and before instead of before and after. Well I finally bought the fabric I had been eyeing. I have my fingers crossed that it will not show the girls food spills so brightly as my last covers. I bought enough of it though that if it does show spills I can recover the chair and it will all look pretty again. I looked at walmart for wood soap to wash the chairs but couldn't find any....Helen what should I use?

They make Murphys oil soap...it is by the dusting stuff..I have wiped down my wood chairs with a wet cloth before but that is about all....Of all the things I have not let children do it is eat by themselves and make a mess...I fed children till they were at least three or could eat without getting their hands dirty..I know that is funny but I could not stand to see a kid with food all over their face and hands.....Their Mamas let them learn to eat by themselves which I know they need, but it did not happen at my house...

Kris and Darrel had this 'thing' about letting little kids on their birthdays...even at one year....just dive into their cake with their hands or face or whatever....they would sit them on the floor with their cake...I always told them 'in two years you will be yelling at the kids for eating that way'....you know me I was not quiet about it...

Whem mackenzie was 1 they started that and she would not touch her cake...Remember Granny had her a lot till 18 mos....I think they finally took her hands and put it in the cake and she did not like that mess!!!

Your chairs are pretty....you are very crafty...
