For Aunt Helen

Paula Deen has a cooking show on the food network. She is from Albany, Georgia. She has a restuarant in Savannah, GA called the Lady and Sons. She cooks good southern food just like I am used to. She makes a lot of things my Me-ma used to cook. Out here she comes on at 6:00 am and 9:30 am on Saturdays and Sundays. Through the week I think she comes on here at 12:00.....I don't usually watch through the week. Her show is called Paula's Home Cooking. I just love her and love to hear her talk. I have tried lots of her recipes and can't think of any I have messed up. Her ingredients are simple and usually I have heard of or seen most the recipes. Her being from Georgia she does cook some oysters which I have no desire to try.

When Laura comes up and watches it at my house I enjoy watching it with her. Winnie also says she likes this show...so Helen I think you should try it.

the reason I don't watch it unless Laura is here is...I can't remember to...you all know about my brain disease. teehee

Oh I know the one you are talking about Laura....She is a heavy set lady but very neat! Not like the Barefoot whatever. I have seen her make things like Vinegar Pie...and she always tastes it and acts like she has never had anything that tasted so good! I just did not know her name....The one Pat used to watch was an old skinny man with a beard or some facial hair and he looked he was about 100....He drank wine all of the time.. What was the name of his show...I am like Betty...I forget...Oh yes wasn't it the 'Frugal Gourmet?

There is this one cooking show and it is a younger single man that makes meals for parties cheap....I have seen that one once or twice also...I have no idea what the name of the show is . Missy has watched him several times...

I do not watch cooking shows. They are always making things that I would never cook and probably would not eat. I watch sewing shows where they make things that I would never sew and probably would never use if I do make them.

i think that is you are going to post on your blog you should have to include pictures of the girls. this was of no interest to me. you could have made something and took a picture of yourself eating it!! hehe i might have bought you a sandra lee cookbook -- and i might have not. it might have been really cheap. i guess you will have to wait for your birthday to find out.

Erin, you know I will be up there thursday....you could just give it to me then.

Fleta, you could cook and eat the stuff Paula makes.

Or, when you come to Erin's, you could cook it and bring it to me and I would eat it.

Or, you could be like Patsy and sew some quilts and give them to me to give to someone and I could keep them.

And Erin is right, you need a picture of the girls or at least one of the girls on all your posts.

Yes, Laura, I am going to set your blog so if it does not have a picture of the girls the post will not go through.

Smart Sister, will you help me with this?

Yes, I think we can do that.
